Project Details

Located in Vermont, this three time award winning project was built to achieve energy efficiency. This house was built using high R value wall construction and Fibertec’s fiberglass triple pane windows. Solar panels were placed on the roof, HVAC systems and heat pump systems were used as well. The fiberglass windows used for this passive solar design played a big role in increasing the energy efficiency of the home. A combination of Fibertec’s high performance fiberglass fixed and casement windows were used, which both offer low u values and high energy ratings exceeding the Energy Star standard.
