Located in Midland, Ontario, the Hillcrest Village Care Centre was built in 2000 to build a suitable place for elders to live comfortably. Such a place requires dedication, care and comfort in order for the residents to feel as much at home as possible. Fibertec’s fiberglass windows took part in building efficiently in order to contribute to the needs of the residents. All of Fibertec’s high performance 300 series fiberglass windows were used for this project, which includes the 300 series casement window as well as fixed over awning in combination. The fiberglass windows used for the long term care facility has different glazing finishes on each of the building’s elevations in order to maximize energy efficiency.
