About three years ago I ordered thirteen fiberglass double hung windows for my farmhouse in Dudley and after my first two years with them installed, I have been extremely pleased with the results. The quality is outstanding, the maintenance minimal and they have made a huge difference in comfort, particularly in the winter.
Knowing all the work that goes into a project like this, installing subpar windows was just not an option. It’s something one only wants to do once. The old adage “cheap tools are more expensive” applies even moreso to a building product like windows. After all, if a wrench breaks, you don’t have to rip open a wall to replace it.
