Triple Glazing:
Triple Glazing has three layers of glass, or two layers with a low-emissivity (Low-E) film suspended between them. The additional layer and air space give triple glazing better insulation value than that provided by double glazing. It is a good choice where there are weather extremes. Triple-glazed windows can help reduce sound transmission where outside noise is a problem.

Double Glazing:
Double Glazed windows have two layers of glass separated with a spacer. It is the minimum standard allowed by the National Building Code of Canada. Air trapped between the glass layers provides some insulating value.

LoE Performance +:

Argon Gas Fill:
Argon is a colourless, odourless, non-flammable, non-reactive, inert gas. Argon gas fills are used to reduce heat loss in sealed units by slowing down convection inside the air space. Argon gas is extremely cost-efficient, and works well with Low-e & LoE Performance + coated glazing.

Krypton Gas Fill:
Krypton is a colourless, odourless, non-flammable, non-reactive, inert gas. Krypton gas fills are used to reduce heat loss in sealed units by slowing down convection inside the air space. Krypton gas works well with Low-e & LoE Performance + coated glazing, the insulating value is greater than argon and is a good choice for those energy saving guru`s.

Heat Mirror:
Heat Mirror is a low-emissivity coated film product suspended inside an insulating glass unit. The result is a triple unit with two airspace`s without the weight of triple insulating glass and with far superior insulating and shading performance. Heat Mirror products can be used with virtually any type of glass – clear, LoE, LoE Performance +, tempered, – to achieve superior performance in a wide range of aesthetics.

Warm Edge Spacer:
Warm Edge Spacer – Thermal Edge™ spacer bar is the complete solution to warm edge technology. Utilizing both our roll forming and extrusion expertise, this spacer improves thermal performance while maintaining the structural integrity and gas/moisture retention properties required of a spacer bar.

Thermal Edge™ is produced in regular, bendable, rectangular, Heat Mirror, and low profile designs. White, black, and gray colors are standard. Various sizes of warm edge spacer are available depending on the profile design.

Increased edge temperature reduces perimeter condensation and heat loss compared with conventional aluminum spacer. Thermal Edge™ enhances performance of LoE” coatings and argon gas filled units.
